Dramatic build-up to latest production

Sep 2 2011

Although the cast of Sutton Arts Theatre’s latest production, How the Other Half Loves, may be used to dramas, the last few weeks are sure to have put them on the edge of their seats.

Not only was one cast member but a street away from the terrorist attacks in Oslo, but another was then forced to pull out of the production following a car crash.

The result is that Louise Farmer, a new member of the theatre group, had just a matter of weeks to take on one of the key roles.

However, despite the dramatic build-up to opening night, the cast and crew are focused on delivering the best production possible to open the season. The comedy classic tells the story of three interlinked couples and the absurd consequences of the lies they tell each other.

How the Other Half Loves started its run yesterday and continues until September 10 at The Sutton Arts Theatre on the South Parade in Sutton Coldfield. To book your tickets contact the Box Office now by calling 0121 355 5355 or head down to the theatre from 7pm.
