Comedy at the cricket club May 2 2008
Walmley Cricket Club is opening its doors to a night of top live comedy, in collaboration with Sutton's Comedy Junction this weekend. Performing at the club in Eldon Drive, off Penns Lane, on Sunday (May 4) are leading comics Karen Bayley, Rupert Nut and headline act Andy White. Andy(pictured) is a Brummie who escaped from a call centre to become a stand-up comic. He combines silly voices and a mad afro to devestating comic effect. Andy's humour embraces silly voices, funny faces and observational humour. Doors open at 8pm and tickets are £6 on the door. more
