Four Oaks-resident MEP Mike Nattrass will contest Staffordshire South for the United Kingdom Independence Party at the next General Election. Members of the party’s South Staffordshire Constituency Association this week voted unanimously for the West Midlands MEP to fight for the seat in the UK Parliament. Speaking at the Association’s branch meeting, held at Codsall Village Hall on Tuesday (July 28), Mr Nattrass said he was ‘determined to fight tooth and nail to defend the interests of the people of South Staffordshire’. He said: “We will do well at the General Election. In the same week that the EU is discussing the imposition of EU birth and death certificates I get from you (the Branch) my ‘license to grill’ and the Cons are going to get grilled over their support of the European Union.” |
