JOHN Taylor Hospice is inviting locals to remember a loved one this Christmas.
The Erdington-based hospice will be holding its first ever Light up a Life event on Sunday December 18 where friends and family who have lost someone special can celebrate their memory with a dedication in the form of a light on a tree.
The poignant event will also includes music and readings with every name recorded in the Book of Lights.
One of the first families planning to take part was the Arnolds from Castle Vale who will be remembering their Christmas crackers mum Karen.
