The hit Japanese game about trainee ninjas finally hits the PS3 in all its cartoon glory. I can't say I'm a huge fan of Naruto, but my friend loves it, so he talks about it a lot, but he doesn't know I've got this game so oh well! I didn't think I'd like it as much as I did because it was truly brilliant, the graphics were especially good as they're in HD. The line between Naruto animation and gaming has truly disappeared with the game following the story of Sasuke's retrieval arc. You can master up to 25 transformable characters as you roam freely around multi-dimensional arenas that you can either fight your mates or the computer. Another good feature is the fact you can make your own Ninja dream team. One bad thing is the smallness of the game, I mean the story is quite lengthy but as soon as you've finished the story there isn't much else to do but still this is a great game and any Naruto fan would be crazy to miss this masterpiece. The sound effects are good and the graphics are outstanding so overall I think this game deserves 8./10. |
